How do I Enter the Sweepstakes?
You can enter by purchasing Nail House gift cards. You’ll receive one ballot entry for every $100 you spend on gift cards in a single day. For instance:
- If you spend $100 on gift cards in one day, you get one ballot entry.
- If you spend $200 on gift cards in one day, you receive two ballot entries.
- Are online gift card purchases eligible for the sweepstakes?
- Absolutely! Both in-store and online gift card purchases qualify for the sweepstakes. When you order gift cards online, the recipient will receive the corresponding number of ballot entries with your gift card delivery. It’s important to fill out these ballots and return them to a Nail House location to ensure your entry into the sweepstakes. Please make sure to provide accurate contact details on each ballot for your chance to win.
- What is the prize for the Sweepstakes?
The winner will receive “Pedicures for a Year,” which we are fulfilling with 10 complimentary pedicure vouchers. These vouchers must be used by December 31st, 2024.
When is the final date of entry and when will the draw be?
The sweepstakes begins on November 19th, 2023 at 12:00 AM and ends on December 24, 2023 at 11:59 PM. The draw date will be December 27, 2023.
Are there restrictions on who can enter?
Participants must be legal residents of Manitoba where Nail House and must be the age of majority, or 13+ with parental consent.
How will the winner be notified?
The winner will be contacted via the phone number provided at the time of entry. Please ensure your contact details are accurate.
Is there a skill testing question required?
Yes, to comply with Canadian sweepstakes regulations, the winner will be required to answer a skill-testing question. The skill-testing question will be a math question on all ballots sufficiently difficult to comply with Canadian sweepstakes legislation.
Is the prize transferable?
No, the prize is non-transferable and must be accepted as awarded. However, the prize winner may redeem pedicures for guests who accompany the prize winner to the salon at the time of redemption.
How will my personal information be used?
Personal information will only be collected in order to administer the draw. All personal information of entrants will be destroyed after the draw date, with the exception of the winner, whose information will be retained to administer the prize.
Will the winner be announced on social media?
Yes, the winner will be announced on live on our official social media channels on December 27, 2023. There first name and last initial will be announced publicly. By entering the sweepstakes, entrants consent to having their first name and last initial shared.
What about my privacy and publicity rights?
By entering the sweepstakes, you consent to Nail House using your first name, last initial, likeness, and/or voice for promotional purposes in any media without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law. Your privacy is important to us, and we will handle your personal information in accordance with our privacy policy.
What do I need to do if I win?
Winners will be contacted and must claim their prize within 7 days from the date of notification. Failure to claim within this period may result in forfeiture of the prize.
What happens if there are issues with the prize or sweepstakes?
Nail House is not liable for any issues that arise from the acceptance or use of the prize or participation in the sweepstakes. This includes, but is not limited to, any damage, loss, or injury.
What is the alternative form of entry?
Yes, we offer a ‘No Purchase Necessary’ entry option. You can enter by submitting a five-minute video discussing why you love Nail House. By participating in this manner, you grant Nail House consent to share portions of your video on our social media platforms. Here are the steps to follow:
- Create Your Video: Record a five-minute video explaining what you love about Nail House and why you should win the sweepstakes.
- Submission: Request a submission instructions through the contact us form on our website.
- Consent for Use: By submitting your video, you agree that Nail House may use portions of it for promotional purposes on our social media channels.
- Eligibility: The same eligibility requirements apply as with the purchase method of entry.
Please note that the quality of the video will not affect your chances of winning, as all entries will have an equal chance. This method allows us to celebrate our community’s passion for Nail House while maintaining a fair and equal sweepstakes process. The ‘No Purchase Necessary’ option is limited to one entry per individual.
Can my entry be disqualified?
Yes, entries may be disqualified for reasons such as non-compliance with the terms, incomplete or illegible entries, fraudulent entries, or entries submitted by ineligible participants.
What laws govern this sweepstakes?
The sweepstakes is governed by the laws of Manitoba, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in this region.
Can the terms of this sweepstakes be changed?
Nail House reserves the right to amend the sweepstakes rules or cancel the sweepstakes at any time without prior notice, in compliance with applicable laws.
Can the prize be substituted?
Nail House reserves the right to substitute the prize with another of equal or greater value in the event the original prize is unavailable.
